On Saturday 17th July 2010 we played a charity festival near Mold to support Macmillan Cancer Support. Thanks again to everyone involved with the event - The Fevers, New Clear Skies & Cluffy for providing the tunes, all those who donated cash or raffle prizes, and of course Charlotte, Sarah, Boz, Pete & everyone else involved with organising such a succesful day. Over £2500 was raised - congratulations and well done all.

This FREE event held at D'Meltin Pot in Chester is the first night of a monthly event aimed at quality not quantity. The artists in order of appearance are as follows:

21.30 Monika Evans

Monika was born in Krakow, Poland and began her music career playing violin and piano at the age of ten. She has been singing and composing music since the age of sixteen and currently lives and performs in the UK.

22.30 Tigers That Talked

Returning to Chester for the second time , the quartet hailing from Leeds will be performing tracks off of their up and coming debut album.

I was wondering if any of you lot were wondering where we've wandered off too. Were you? I wonder. Anyway, with Boz firmly in the drum seat, we're currently working on getting a full set of our own songs together (only three covers!?) and practising up for some gigging...

There's a few new tunes lurking about (some of you may of heard the recent demo we recorded at Mad Dog Studios) and the order isn't finalised, but the list currently looks something like this: Madam Majiva, Banquet, This is My Place, Betty Ford, Where is My Mind?, Just Give Me, LSF, Slow Down, Lonely, Kill the Robot, Priest, F*ckbeast, Open Ground.

There's also a couple of others flying around and the possible pillaging of some of Boz's more recent back catalogue... see you soon!
